Bloc Party is an English indie rock band that has experienced growing influence in the United States since releasing its 2005 debut “Silent Alarm.” The group’s third and most recent album, “Intimacy,” hit No. 18 on the Billboard 200, a notable improvement over their debut’s peak position at No. 114. While the quartet has toured regularly in support of its studio albums, most concerts have been booked in Europe and other international locations. When the group does come to North American shores, it is usually booked into medium-large clubs and theaters in major cities, where tickets usually sell quickly.
