Music publishing firm secretary turned Country Music legend, Faith Hill has become one of the “30 Most Powerful Women in America” according to “Ladies Home Journal.” Adopted by a Christian couple when she was young, Hill spent much of her younger years in pursuit of her musical career, where she formed a band, performed at local rodeos, auditioned for Reba McEntire, and had the rare opportunity of seeing Elvis Presley in concert.
Hill married country singer Tim McGraw in 1996, and that same year the couple performed their “Soul2Soul II Tour,” which grossed $89 million, making it the highest grossing country tour of all time. Her “soulful” voice has earned her over 25 awards, including four Grammy Awards, and three number one albums, including “Breathe,” released in 1999.
