Though just an exhibition team, the Harlem Globetrotters basketball team is one of the best known sports organizations in the world. The origins of the Globetrotters trace back to 1926 and have grown to an entertainment juggernaut.

Centered on family entertainment, the Globetrotters use both incredible athleticism and slapstick comedy. Through tradition and quality, the past few years have been record setting for the team. In 2009, they broke a single game team record for paid tickets for their February 15 appearance at the Staples Center in Los Angeles. Millions of fans have entered the turnstiles to see the Globetrotters and over the next few years millions more will.
