Keith Urban is an Australian country musician who has grown in popularity within the United States and Canada since Capitol Nashville released his eponymous break-through in 1999, which hit No. 145 on the Billboard 200. Urban actually debuted eight years earlier in Australia, also with a self-titled effort that was later released worldwide in 2005. Since 2004’s “Be Here,” all of Urban’s albums have peaked within the Top 5 on the Billboard 200 and topped the country albums chart. Urban has headlined a handful of tours in the U.S. and Canada, including his popular co-billed tour with Carrie Underwood in 2008.
