Kellie Pickler is an American country music artist, perhaps best known for her run on the fifth season of “American Idol,” in which she eventually took sixth place. In 2006, Pickler signed a record deal with BNA Records and released her first album, “Small Town Girl,” later that year. She has released several singles since then, and in 2008 she won three awards for her song “I Wonder” at the CMT Music Awards. She also won the Songwriter award from the American Society of Composers, Authors and Publishers two years in a row, first for “Red High Heels” in 2007 and then for “I Wonder” in 2008. In the summer of 2009, she embarked on a joint tour with Taylor Swift, performing across the U.S. and consistently placing in TicketNews’s Top Events.
