New Kids on the Block, often abbreviated to NKOTB, is a male vocal group that rose to popularity in the late 1980s and early ’90s. The group is considered one of the original “boy bands,” influencing acts later in the ’90s like the Backstreet Boys and N*Sync.

After more than a decade apart, the quintet decided to reunite in 2008 for a series of performances, primarily in North America. The group released a new album to compliment its reunion tour, allowing the New Kids to reach a new generation of fans rather than just being a nostalgia act for original followers.

As a result of their newfound appeal and wider audience range, tickets for the New Kids were top sellers throughout 2008. Additional tour legs were later added to fulfill high demand for NKOTB concert tickets.
