Based out of Canada, hard rock group Nickelback has built a strong fan base for its albums and concerts. Though the band’s critical reception has been missed, its mainstream success has only grown since its 1996 debut “Curb.” The band’s highest charting releases in the U.S. to date have been 2001’s six-time Platinum “Silver Side Up,” and 2005’s seven-time Platinum “All the Right Reasons.”

The band was one of several big-name acts to sign a comprehensive touring and recording deal with Live Nation Artists, worth an estimated $50 million to $70 million. Signed in 2008, the deal’s touring agreement first went into affect with the 2009 tour supporting “Dark Horse,” released by Nickelback in November 2008.
