Trace Adkins is an American country singer born and raised in Louisiana. He released his first album, entitled “Dreamin’ Out Loud,” in 1996, reaching #6 on the US Country charts and attaining platinum status. Adkins has continued his success, releasing seven additional studio albums over the last 13 years. His most recent albums have been extremely successful; both “Songs About Me” and “Dangerous Man” (released in 2005 and 2006, respectively) topped the US Country charts.

Adkins’ most recent album was released in 2008, called “X” to signify that it is his tenth album, if you count his two greatest hits releases. He won CMT’s Male Video of the Year for “I Got My Game On” in 2008, and in 2009 he received ACM’s Single of the Year award for “You’re Gonna Miss This.” Adkin’s latest endeavors have included competing in “Celebrity Apprentice” (in which he was runner-up), performing on “The Young and the Restless” and touring the U.S. in 2009.
