While the Stone Pony in Asbury Park, NJ, is temporarily closed to undergo roof maintenance and repair, seven shows from November 23 through December 21 were moved to other venues, while the November 22 New York Dolls and Frankenstein 3000 concert was postponed. Previously purchased tickets will be honored at the new venues.

Shows by Nicole Atkins, Method Man & Redman, The Parlor Mob, Alesana, Gene Ween Band and Murphy’s Law have been moved to The Wonder Bar. The All-American Rejects show was moved to The Paramount on November 22. The Stony Pony, The Paramount and The Wonder Bar, all in Asbury Park, are all booked by Live Nation.

The renovation will ensure the long term future of the venue as a New Jersey shore landmark live music establishment. The Stone Pony, along with Paramount Theatre, Convention Hall, and Wonder Bar, is part of a multi-million dollar renovation occurring to revitalize the Asbury Park music and entertainment mecca.

Since the club opened in 1974 a number of iconic artists have graced the Stone Pony stage, including Stevie Ray Vaughn, Elvis Costello, The Ramones, Blondie, Meatloaf, Todd Rundgren, Joan Jett, Blue Oyster Cult, Gregg Allman, Johnny Winter, Van Morrison and Southside Johnny and the Asbury Jukes.
