TicketNetwork has become one of the only ticket companies – and the first secondary ticket reseller – to successfully prove its Payment Card Industry (PCI) DDS compliance for the highest standard of credit card data security.

With privacy and Internet security being top among consumer’s concerns for Web-based transactions, achieving PCI compliant certification validates TicketNetwork’s innovative approach to making sure that brokers and consumers have the utmost trust in the company’s ticket-selling platform.

Over a stringent implementation process, TicketNetwork worked closely with its broker clients and preeminent Internet security provider ControlScan to ensure that highest level of merchant processing standards are met. TicketNetwork and participating brokers in its ticket exchange have received ControlScan’s Verified Secure designation, a cost-effective solution for brokers to protect their IT infrastructure and customer data.

Don Vaccaro, CEO, TicketNetwork said all participating brokers using TicketNetwork’s industry leading Point-of-Sale application have been extended PCI DDS compliance status on an individual basis. “More than half of the brokers we contacted about this program have committed to becoming PCI compliant in the next two weeks.”

Most ticket-selling Web sites have not taken the initiative to incorporate the strict standards necessary to ensure PCI compliance, much less secondary ticket resellers, setting TicketNetwork, the parent company of TicketNews, apart for this dedicated initiative. The company can now say that it has ensured its customers, partners and affiliates that all ticket purchases made via its ticket exchange are backed with unprecedented protection from credit card fraud.

“Our company clearly leads the secondary ticket industry on many fronts including unparalleled software technology, the most ticket inventory, real time transactions, and security and consumer protection is yet another area that is essential to the foremost experience in purchasing tickets online,” Vaccaro added.
