Tim Fraser, contributing writer to TicketNews, primarily focuses his attention to the world of sports and its never ending storyline. Tim writing experience was enriched at the University of Connecticut, where he graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in journalism. He worked in the field of customer service for 7 years before starting to write a weekly column for TicketNews in November 2007. Topics he has researched and written about include the NBA, NHL and MLB.

Born and raised in Willimantic, Connecticut, Tim always had an interest in sports especially local teams like the UConn Huskies, Boston Red Sox, New England Patriots and Boston Celtics. From the time he can remember he has wanted to surround himself with sports, and writing was a perfect avenue. In his time studying at University of Connecticut, he learned under writers from The Hartford Courant, Providence Journal and Norwich Bulletin.
