Country artists Toby Keith and Trace Adkins have rescheduled their July 30 concert at Snowden Grove Amphitheater in Southaven, MS, to September 16.

The concert was originally nixed when tornadic activity and thunderstorms engulfed the area as concert gates opened. Tickets for the original date will be honored at the rescheduled show.

Keith has North American dates scheduled through September 25 in Oro, ON, though his run with Adkins will end on September 19 at First Midwest Bank Amphitheater in Chicago, IL. Keith’s tour of the UK and Europe runs November 11-22.

Adkins has U.S. dates through October 24 in Nashville, TN, at the Grand Ole Opry. He was recently nominated for Video of the Year for “Muddy Water” by the 15th Annual Inspirational Country Music Awards, set for October 15.

Weather conditions recently played a role in another concert cancellation.

An extreme heat weather forecast for the August 11 Bob Dylan, Willie Nelson and John Mellencamp concert at Camelback Ranch in Glendale, AZ, forced Jam Productions to call the show three days prior to the scheduled concert. That show will not be rescheduled.
