Heavy metal rockers Trivium, from Orlando, FL, have teamed up with All That Remains, a metalcore outfit from Springfield, MA, for a six-week, co-headlining fall tour of the U.S. The club and theater tour kicks off September 9 in Fort Lauderdale, FL, finishing up October 19 in Charlotte, NC. Supporting acts are 36 Crazyfists and The Human Abstract.

In a post on Trivium’s Web site, guitarist Corey Bealieu wrote, “We have toured a few times with All That Remains, in fact one of our very first tours four years ago was with All That Remains, so it’s going to be fun to hit the road again with them.”

Following the co-headlining gigs, Trivium heads over to Europe for Slayer’s European tour, Unholy Alliance: Chapter III. Trivium will open for the heavy metal giants during the 17-date tour, which also features performances by special guest Mastodon. Performances begin October 27 and run through November 19.

Beaulieu also revealed that Trivium will be announcing another major tour shortly, hitting all the major U.S. markets.

Both bands will be touring behind new albums. All That Remains’ fourth studio album, “Overcome,” drops on September 16. Trivium’s new record, “Shogun,” comes out September 30.

“Down From the Sky” will be the first official digital single off “Shogun” and will be available on September 1. The album’s first single, “Kirisute Gomen,” was available as a download on July 31 for only 24 hours.
