Rockstar Taste of Chaos is back with its fourth installment of winter arena shows in North America. The tour will stop in 43 cities from Feb. 29 in Denver, CO to April 15 in Seattle, WA; Canadian dates will be released in next month.

The multi-artist package, which bills itself as the only “worldwide lifestyle festival tour,” will feature headliner Avenged Sevenfold, with Atreyu, Bullet for my Valentine and Blessthefall. Performing outside on each venue’s concourse will be Idiot Pilot, playing two sets every night. Avenged Sevenfold is the only band that has has headlined Warped Tour and Ozzfest, and be No. 1 on MTV’s TRL at the same time. Since its inception, the tour has logged more than 200 shows in the U.S., Mexico, UK, New Zealand and other countries.

As an added attraction this year, festival producers are bringing the best in Japanese rock bands aka JROCK — Mucc, D’Espairsray and The Underneath — to round out the line-up.

“After having a chance to be involved with introducing Dir En Grey to American audiences and working on the successful JROCK Revolution Festival with Yoshiki last May in Los Angeles, I felt that the fans across the U.S. would really appreciate a chance to have these bands come to their cities,” tour co-founder Kevin Lyman said in a statement.

The Internet pre-sale will begin Jan. 5, 2008, at Rockstartasteofchaos.com in conjunction with MUSIC TODAY. The national on sale will take place on Jan. 12.

During the past three years, the touring festival logged more than 200 worldwide dates, playing in over 20 countries including the United States, Canada, Great Britain, Germany, Australia, Japan, France, Mexico, New Zealand and Italy among others.
