Jack Johnson, Portishead, Roger Waters and Death Cab for Cutie are among the artists lined up for the 2008 Coachella Valley Music & Arts Festival, organizers announced this week. The three-day camping/music event is scheduled for the Empire Polo Field at Indio, CA on April 25-27.
The highly anticipated annual festival has attracted thousands to the California desert each year, and has featured such performers at Rage Against the Machine, Bjork and the Red Hot Chili Peppers.
The lineup for April 25 is: Jack Johnson, The Verve, Raconteurs, The Breeders, Fatboy Slim, Tegan and Sara, Madness, The Swell Season, The National, Animal Collective, Slightly Stoopid, Mum, Sharon Jones & the Dap Kings, Stars, Battles, Aesop Rock, Midnight Juggernauts, Does It Offend You, Yeah?, Minus the Bear, Spank Rock, Dan Le Sac Vs Scroobius Pip, Diplo, Adam Freeland, Santo Gold, Jens Lekman, John Butler Trio, Vampire Weekend, Dan Deacon, Architecture in Helsinki, Sandra Collins, Busy P, Cut Copy, Black Lips, Datarock, Professor Murder, Reverend and the Makers, The Bees, Porter, Rogue Wave, Modeselektor, American Bang and Lucky I Am.

A full three-day, general admission ticket is $269; a single-day, general admission is $90; and camping events general admission is $55 per person. These prices do not include applicable service fees.
For the first time, tickets and travel packages will be directly available to music fans throughout Mexico. “This is really a way for us to get closer to our fans throughout Latin America who have been supportive of Coachella for the past 10 years,” said promoter Paul Tollett in a statement.
