In keeping with its teen image, the Jonas Brothers upcoming Burning Up Tour will be co-sponsored by Burger King Corp. (BK). Terms of the sponsorship were not divulged.

Produced by Live Nation, the tour is slated to hit 38 cities across North America, July 4 – August 21, and is part of the trio’s long-term, multi-million dollar worldwide touring deal with Live Nation, which began January 31.

The Burger King agreement gives the hamburger chain the opportunity to use the Jonas Brothers in marketing efforts for its food products, such as the company’s new Fresh Apple Fries. BK will also give away concert tickets and offer some lucky fans exclusive meet-and-greets with the band.

Beginning in July, BK’s website will give fans special online access to tour information, including exclusive behind-the-scenes sneak peeks and sweepstakes.

“The Jonas Brothers have a huge, dedicated fan base,” said Brian Gies, vice president of marketing impact, Burger King Corp, in a statement. “By sponsoring their summer tour, BK is bringing our guests one of the hottest entertainment properties of the summer and a chance at ground floor access to three of music’s fastest rising stars.”

Before the launch of their summer tour, the brothers will join Avril Lavigne’s Best Damn Tour 2008 in the UK, May 26-June 4.
