From July 10 in Madison, WI through August 2 in Atlanta, GA, touring heavyweights STS9 and Umphrey’s McGee team up for one of the hardest-hitting tours this summer. This co-bill will feature extended sets by both bands and will stop in Midwest and East Coast cities. There are also special late night sets by each band in select markets, including Philadelphia, PA; Raleigh, NC; Madison, WI; Chicago, IL; and New York, NY.
Then from August 15 in San Francisco, CA to September 20 in San Diego, CA. STS9 will tour the West Coast and Colorado with various opening acts on select dates. The San Francisco and Boulder, CO shows have already sold out.
STS9 a.k.a Sound Tribe Sector 9 is an instrumental band known for their live performances playing numerous genres of music, including funk, jazz, psychedelic, hip-hop, and electronic music.
Dubbed “…one of the country’s most intriguing, innovative outfits around” by XLR8R Magazine, STS9 is touring in support of their new, highly anticipated studio album “Peaceblaster.” Beginning July 8, it will be available online and at independent retailers on their self-owned record label, 1320 Records.
