Ska pop punk band Less Than Jake has lined up a few new dates with other artists, including Rancid, September 12-14, adding to their current Shout It Loud II Tour with Goldfinger, Big D and the Kids Table and Suburban Legends that winds down on August 2. Less Than Jake is celebrating their critically-acclaimed and fan-hailed new album, “GNV FLA,” which was recently released on their own label, Sleep It Off Records.
On July 12, Less Than Jake will broadcast their concert live on Woozyfly.com from The Chance in Poughkeepsie, NY. The evening promises a whirlwind of activity, from fan interviews to backstage shenanigans, exclusive band interviews and finally the live performance.
Woozyfly.com is a music media and networking website specializing in live broadcasting and allows users to create their own profile to broadcast their own live Internet show. The Less Than Jake Woozyfly.com live broadcast airs from 8 pm to Midnight EST.
“GNV FLA” is more than appropriately titled as it references the band’s college town of Gainesville, FL, where they first got their start. The album, too, is a throwback to the earlier days with the raw sound and energy that first gained attention over a decade ago. The current Shout Out Loud II Tour features the live debut of the new songs from “GNV FLA” speckled amidst many of their older hits.
