After summer tours in Australia and the UK to support his 2007 album “Call Me Irresponsible,” the dulcet-toned Michael Bublé will perform some early fall shows in the U.S. The tour kicks off October 1 in Baltimore, MD, and is currently scheduled to wrap December 2-3 in Uncasville, CT.

Though the current tour itinerary features a three-week gap between the final two cities, don’t call Bublé’s scheduling irresponsible just yet. The Canadian crooner promised to expand the 10-date big band tour. As noted on his Web site, there are forthcoming dates in the States, including gigs in Louisiana, Alabama, Florida and Mississippi. Tickets for the announced shows went on sale to the public August 15.

The accomplished vocalist began his mix of traditional and big band music in the mid-’90s. He released four independent albums before producing his 2003 self-titled studio debut. Since then he has topped the charts and garnered multiple nominations and awards, including a 2008 Grammy Award for Best Traditional Pop Vocal Album. Over the years, Bublé had toured with dozens of musicians who helped to recreate the big band sound of his albums while on the road.
