All That Remains tour continues through 2009 with In Flames, The Haunted

Metalcore band All That Remains isn’t planning to leave the road anytime soon, even though the supporting stint on Trivium’s current tour is set to wrap on October 19 at Amos’ Southend in Charlotte, NC. The Massachusetts-based outfit will soldier on with In Flames and The Haunted on two separate tours, keeping the rockers on the move through early 2009.

Before kicking off the North American tour, All That Remains will “Rock the Ink” at the Dunkin’ Donuts Center in Providence, RI, on October 24. Performing on the first night of the three-day tattoo expo, the band shares the billing with some of heavy metal’s leading names, including Godsmack, Bret Michaels, Killswitch Engage, Sevendust, Saliva and Drowning Pool.

Following the mid-October dates, All That Remains continues its 2008 itinerary with Swedish death metal band In Flames on a 28-date tour of North America that begins November 6 at Metropolis in Montreal, QC, and continues through December 10 at The Rave in Milwaukee, WI. Highlights of that trek include a November 22 performance at the new Club Nokia at LA Live in Los Angeles, CA, and a December 7 show at Terminal 5 in New York, NY.

The journey continues in 2009 with a two-month trek across Europe with Swedish thrash metal band The Haunted. The 22-city jaunt begins with a UK run on January 17 at Rescue Rooms in Nottingham and continues on to the rest of Europe before wrapping on February 18 at Orlandia in St. Petersburg, RUS.

All That Remains is touring in support of the band’s fourth studio album “Overcome,” released on September 16. The album earned the rockers their highest placement ever on the Billboard 200 with a No. 16 debut, in contrast with 2006’s chart-breakthrough album “The Fall of Ideals,” which peaked at No. 75.

“We’re now at the point where we’re the band I always wanted to us to be,” vocalist Phil Labonte said in a statement on the band’s official Web site. “Musically, we’re capable of doing what I originally wanted to do. As musicians, we can all live up to that goal.”
