Cher will return to the Colosseum at Caesars Palace in Las Vegas, NV, for 35 performances for her first series of 2009 shows. The performances run in blocks from February 21 through March 21 and from April 24 through May 24. Tickets go on sale on November 3 and are priced at $95, $140, $175, and $250 plus taxes and fees

Cher’s Colosseum show is a 90-minute concert-style spectacle which begins at 7:30 p.m. four nights a week on Tuesday, Wednesday, Saturday and Sunday. Tickets can be purchased online at Ticketmaster, keyword Cher. Tickets may also be purchased in person at the Colosseum box office, which is open daily from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m.

Cher’s residency, produced by AEG Live, includes approximately 200 shows over a span of three years. Almost 200,000 concertgoers attended the first 44 sold-out performances in 2008. Several of her final concerts for the year were cancelled due asthma-related bronchitis.

Cher is the third artist in residency at the Colosseum. Celine Dion‘s “Celine Dion: A New Day” had a five year run from 2003-2007, and Bette Midler started her multi-year residency last year. AEG Live also has booked Elton John and Jerry Seinfeld for extended runs over the past few years at the venue.
