Tickets are going like hot cakes for the Kings of Leon‘s tour of Australia and New Zealand, which kicks off March 8 at Rock-It in Perth, AU, and wraps March 29 at Westpac Arena in Christchurch, NZ.

After immediately selling out their Sydney and Melbourne shows, second shows were added in both markets to meet the demand, while a third and final show was added in Sydney but at a different venue, Acer Arena. And after both Melbourne shows went clean in less than 30 minutes, a limited number of rear view seats were added.

Kings of Leon will now play Melbourne’s Rod Laver Arena on March 13-14 and Sydney’s Entertainment Centre on March 18-19 and Acer Arena on March 21. Other Down Under sellouts include March 16 in Brisbane at the Entertainment Center and March 22 at Newcastle’s Entertainment Centre.

The Columbia, TN-based band is riding high on the success of its triple platinum album “Only By The Night,” which was released in September. The band toured North America in the fall to support the release, and recently announced plans for a January return run of the U.S.
