NOFX tour charts West Coast dates for early 2009 

Veteran punk rockers NOFX are hitting the road early in 2009 for a series of West Coast appearances before beginning an six-city tour of the UK and Ireland. The U.S. jaunt begins with a January 30 show at The Joint in Las Vegas, NV, and wraps with shows on February 20 and 22 at The Canyon Club in Agoura Hills, CA.

The 13-date U.S. trek is concentrated mostly in California with four shows at four different venues in the band’s home city of San Francisco. Highlights for the entire trek include February 6 and 8 shows at Henry Fonda Theatre in Los Angeles, CA, and a February 13 gig at The Fillmore in San Francisco, CA.

Since the band’s founding in the early 1980s, NOFX has released 10 studio albums, 10 EPs, and two live records. The most recent studio released was 2006’s “Wolves in Wolves’ Clothing,” which peaked at No. 46 on the Billboard 200 and No. 2 on the Independent Albums chart. The following year’s live release “They’ve Actually Gotten Worse Live!” peaked at No. 40 on the Independent Albums chart.
