The revolution goes on for jam band O.A.R., short for Of A Revolution, who recently extended their All Sides Tour into 2009. The nine-date addition picks up January 15 at the Knitting Factory in Spokane, WA, and continues through a February 5 concert at Austin Music Hall in Austin, TX.
The winter jaunt makes the circuit across the West Coast, a region that had been left off the band’s fall itinerary. The next performance for the current tour leg is slated for tonight (November 14) at Bob Carpenter Center in Newark, DE.
The fall 2008 trek wraps November 21 at Newport Music Hall in Columbus, OH, after which O.A.R. will perform a few special radio-sponsored concerts before taking a break for the holidays.
Public on-sales have already begun for January 23 in Los Angeles, January 31 in Houston, and February 3 in Dallas. Presale tickets for the remaining 2009 concerts are still available through the Official O.A.R. Fan Community.
O.A.R. is continuing to support its 2008 release “All Sides,” which peaked on the Billboard 200 at No. 13. It’s the sixth studio album for the rockers, who released their previous effort “Stories of a Stranger” in 2005.
