The trio has lined up a brief U.S. tour leg before heading off to Europe for more dates, including a performance at the famous Glastonbury Festival. And guess who else will be performing at Glastonbury as a headliner — none other than occasional CSN collaborator, Neil Young.

The 2009 Vans Warped Tour has announced the itinerary for this summer, just a little more than a week before the first tickets become available in presales. … R&B artist India.Arie has extended her spring tour plans from the West Coast to a nationwide event, which will hit more than 20 cities in all.

A free concert by rapper Matisyahu, part of the Spring Back to Vail event in Colorado, has been cancelled due to economic challenges and budget limitations. … Musician Prince has sold out all three dates of his one-night performing spree in Los Angeles, CA, according to venue promoter Goldenvoice.

Elton John & Billy Joel have a batch of new Face 2 Face tour dates cropping up in the coming months. Industry site Pollstar lists three new shows for the duo on June 3 at Bell Centre in Montreal, QC; July 24 at HSBC Arena in Buffalo, NY; and July 27 at Times Union Center in Albany, NY. Meanwhile, Live Nation confirms two more gigs for this fall: November 14 at Oracle Arena in Oakland, CA, and November 17 at HP Pavilion in San Jose, CA. John and Joel currently have four legs set up across the U.S. and Canada for their co-headlining tour, which continues March 26 at U.S. Airways Center in Phoenix, AZ.

Ben Harper will take new backing band the Relentless 7 on the road this spring for a 16-city tour of the United States and Canada. The outing begins and ends with special festival sets: April 30 at JazzFest in New Orleans, LA, through June 13 at Bonnaroo in Manchester, TN. In between, Harper’s new group has a solid month of club and theater gigs inked, including May 2 at Variety Playhouse in Atlanta, GA; May 5 at Webster Hall in new York, NY; May 12 at Metropolis in Montreal, QC; May 13 at Phoenix Concert Theatre in Toronto, ON; May 16 at Vic Theatre in Chicago, IL; and May 28 at The Wiltern in Los Angeles, CA.

The Steve Miller Band already has a lengthy summer itinerary set up with nearly 30 solo and festival appearances booked across the U.S. and Canada. Now the band has eight concerts penciled in for October and November. The fall tour leg picks up October 1 at Winstar World Casino in Thackerville, OK, and is currently booked through November 14 at Ferguson Center for the arts in newport News, VA. Other dates include an October 14-16 run at The Fillmore in San Francisco, CA, and a November 12 peformance at Peace Center Concert Hall in Greenville, SC. Steve Miller Band’s next gig is May 1 at the Beale Street Music Festival in Memphis, TN.

Rodney Carrington, country musician and comedian, has confirmed six additional performances on his spring tour itinerary. New dates are set fro April 17 at Riverside Theatre in Milwaukee, WI; May 26 at Merill Auditorium in Portland, OR; May 27 at State Theatre in Ithaca, NY; May 28 at Shea’s Performing Arts Center in Buffalo, NY; May 29 at MGM Grand Theater in Mashantucket, CT; and May 30 at Belterra Casino Resort in Florence, IN. The new May dates are the final performances currently booked before Carrington launches his summer residency at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas, NV, from July 30 through August 5. The spring tour picks up March 27 at Ruth Eckerd Hall in Clearwater, FL.

Edwin McCain is solidifying his touring plans for this summer with 13 scattered performances. The outing launches July 2 at the House of Blues in North Myrtle Beach, SC, and concludes August 22 at Festival Park in Fayetteville, NC. Along the way, McCain will stop for gigs on July 5 at World Café Live in Philadelphia, PA; August 6 at 9:30 Club in Washington, DC; August 7 at B.B. Kings Blues Club & Grill in New York, NY; and August 15 at the House of Blues in Chicago, IL.
