After unveiling the first summer 2009 tour plans late last week, Aerosmith has rolled out 30 additional concert dates for its three-month venture with ZZ Top. A number of cities are still waiting on venue confirmation, including the opening show on June 10 in St. Louis, MO.

The 14-week trek weaves a coast-to-coast circuit across North America through the September 16 closer in Detroit, MI. Stops with confirmed venues include a June 16 show at Comcast Center in Mansfield, MA, a July 15 concert at Lakewood Amphitheatre in Atlanta, GA, and an August 23 performance at the Verizon Wireless Amphitheater in Irvine, CA.

Pre-sales for Aerosmith tickets begin in select cities today, April 14, with the first public on-sales picking up April 17. Sale dates and times can be found on the official Aerosmith Web site.

Though ZZ Top has a co-head billing for the entire tour, Aerosmith will start off the tour solo for the shows on June 10 in St. Louis, MO, and June 13 in East Troy, WI. A supporting act will also be announced in the future for July 5 at the Verizon Wireless Amphitheater in Virginia Beach, VA, and the August 28 performance at First Midwest Bank Amphitheatre in Tinley Park, IL.

Aerosmith guitarist Joe Perry first unveiled Aerosmith’s touring plans early last week. More than 40 concerts are expected in total for the North American tour. The upcoming jaunt will be the first for Aerosmith since the Boston-based rock crew completed its 2007 run.
