During its 2007 inaugural year, Rock on the Range drew 30,000 people; more than 55,000 people attended in 2008. Event features this year include the addition of a third stage, the Jägermeister Music Stage, on-stage fan platforms for contest winners and an expanded vendor village.

The music and lifestyle event has also expanded its “Go Green” initiative this year and is the first festival to have an online recycling trade-in rewards component. Fans can log on to ROTRGoGreen.com to learn how they can recycle old cell phones and mp3 players to earn “Swag Bucks,” digital dollars that will allow them to “purchase” VIP tickets to ROTR, a 2007 event poster or a 2008 festival t-shirt.
