Ticket sales for the third annual Rock on the Range are rockin’. General admission field tickets for the May 16-17 rock music festival at Crew Stadium in Columbus, OH, have sold out five weeks prior to the event. However, a limited number of single day GA stadium seats are available for $54.50. Two-day GA stadium seating is available at a discounted price of $99.50.
Each day features more than 18 bands on three stages encompassing over 11 hours of non-stop music. Some of rock’s biggest artists include Mötley Crüe, Slipknot, Alice In Chains, Avenged Sevenfold and Korn.
Rock on the Range is presented by Right Arm Entertainment, AEG LIVE and Crew Stadium.
During its 2007 inaugural year, Rock on the Range drew 30,000 people; more than 55,000 people attended in 2008. Event features this year include the addition of a third stage, the Jägermeister Music Stage, on-stage fan platforms for contest winners and an expanded vendor village.
The music and lifestyle event has also expanded its “Go Green” initiative this year and is the first festival to have an online recycling trade-in rewards component. Fans can log on to ROTRGoGreen.com to learn how they can recycle old cell phones and mp3 players to earn “Swag Bucks,” digital dollars that will allow them to “purchase” VIP tickets to ROTR, a 2007 event poster or a 2008 festival t-shirt.
