Country music icon Willie Nelson has rescheduled the six shows he was forced to cancel in March due to illness.

Nelson’s March 17 show at Ruth Eckerd Hall in Clearwater, FL, is now October 20; the March 18 concert at the King Center for the Performing Arts in Melbourne, FL, is now October 21; and the March 19 gig at the Marina Civic Center in Panama City, FL, is now October 22.

Other rescheduled shows include Springdale, AR, at the Springdale Convention Center on October 4; Choctaw, MS, on October 23 at the Silver Star Resort; and Marksville, LA, on October 24 at the Paragon Casino-Mari Resort, currently the last of Nelson’s confirmed tour dates.

Nelson will also be making several festival stops this summer, including Nelsonville Arts & Music Fest in Nelsonville, OH, on May 16; Downtown Hoedown in Detroit, MI, on May 17; 9th Street Summerfest in Columbia, MO, on May 20; Riverfest 2009 in Little Rock, AR, on May 22; Riverbend Festival in Chattanooga, TN, on June 5; and Rothbury Festival in Rothbury, MI, on July 5.
