The inaugural Born for Broadway benefit concert, a one-night celebrity cabaret, will be held June 22 at the New World Stages in New York, NY. Monday night is usually dark on the Broadway stage, so many Great White Way performers and undiscovered talents will perform in this benefit for the Christopher & Dana Reeve Foundation.

Although the talent has not been announced yet, the charity is really the star of the evening. Tickets are priced from $50 to $100 and are on sale through Telecharge.

The event’s director is Marcia Milgrom Dodge (“Ragtime,” currently at the Kennedy Center in Washington, DC), and the musical director is Larry Yurman (“Grey Gardens”). Veteran character actor Richard Kind is the evening’s host.
