Summer itineraries for Chris Isaak and Steve Earle are just some of the news items compiled by TicketNews for the daily tour recap on May 26, 2009.

Rock musician and actor Chris Isaak has announced plans for a full summer tour, which will kick off July 10 at Harrah’s in Council Bluffs, IA, and visit more than 30 additional cities across North America. Audiophiles won’t have to wait as long for Steve Earle‘s summer tour, which launches later this week on May 28 at The Music Hall in Portsmouth, NH.

In the day’s other news, the music community is mourning the loss of ex-Wilco member and multi-instrumentalist Jay Bennett who died on May 24 at the age of 45. Health problems continue to plague Depeche Mode frontman Dave Gahan, leading to more cancellations in Europe. But some good news comes from the West Coast, where the West Beach Music & Arts Festival has been scheduled for a third year of rock, reggae and jam music blends.

Those are the complete stories for this Tuesday. You can check back tomorrow for more concert and ticketing industry news, or if that’s too long a wait, read on for more itinerary updates in brief:
