“The combination of our position in the regional and national marketplace with our operational expertise and industry-leading leverage will provide valuable support to the great management team already in-place at American Airlines Arena, which will result in increased revenue growth across all areas of event programming and venue operation,” said Bob Newman, the chief operating officer of AEG Facilities, in a statement.

President of HEAT Group Business Operation Eric Woolworth added, “With the arena being among the first in the country to receive LEED certification for an existing building and the recent unveiling of our MiamiMediaMesh (a first-of-its-kind 3,400 square foot, energy-efficient digital media LED billboard display), this is the perfect time to join forces with AEG.”
