Perhaps the most reasonable ticket this summer for a package of major talent will be at Toyota Park in Bridgeview, IL, for the Bridgeview MusicFest on July 3-4, where one-day tickets are $10 and two-day tickets are $15. And to boot, parking is free. A fireworks display is a bonus for the July 4 show.

The performers are mostly ’80s groups, some of which were major headliners across the country. On July 3, Billy Squier headlines, with additional performances from Starship starring Mickey Thomas, Over the Rainbow and Off Broadway. On July 4, Lita Ford gets top billing followed by Warrant, Lynch Mob, L.A. Guns, Adlers Appetite, Enuff Z’nuff and The Leftovers.

“Bridgeview MusicFest promises to be one of the most entertaining and affordable music events of the summer,” said Dan Garnett, general manager of Toyota Park, in a statement.

Garnett continued, “Because of our convenient location near I-294 and I-55, and our proximity to Pace and the CTA, we’re closer and more convenient than downtown Chicago for most people in the six-county area, and with less traffic. This is an event with something for everyone, and it’s priced for everyone.”
