Limp Bizkit’s first stateside show in eight years will be a free performance on July 18 at the Pearl Concert Theater at the Palms Casino Resort in Las Vegas, NV on a first-come, first-serve basis. Each lucky concertgoer who gains entry will receive two tickets.
The show replaces the band’s canceled July 10 concert during UFC 100 at Mandalay Bay Casino & Resort in Las Vegas over concerns about DVD rights and a disagreement over the venue.
The demand is expected to overwhelm the supply so fans are encouraged to line up extremely early. An an added bonus to the band’s dire fans, included in the admission to the concert will be a free exclusive Limp Bizkit t-shirt created for this show only.
Limp Bizkit is also allowing fans to pick the songs to be performed at the Pearl by voting at http://pickrset.com/bands/limpbizkit. Their first three albums have sold more than 20 million copies in the U.S. and another 13 million internationally.
Fred Durst, the group’s frontman, has chosen his lifelong friend DJ Boney B to open the concert.
