“London 2012 Appoints Ticketing Services Supplier”

LONDON, ENG (Ticketmaster) July 23, 2009 – The London Organising Committee of the Olympic Games and Paralympic Games (LOCOG) today announces that Ticketmaster has been appointed Official Ticketing Services Provider for London 2012, and is a London 2012 Tier 3 sponsor.

Tickets for the Olympic Games and Paralympic Games in 2012 go on sale in 2011 and between now and then, Ticketmaster will work with LOCOG on its ongoing ticketing strategy and planning before assisting in the set-up and running of the ticket sales process. Over nine million tickets will be on sale for both the Olympic Games and Paralympic Games.
