Shinedown tour plunges back into ‘Madness’ with fall dates
Even as Shinedown enters its final month of summer concerts, the hard rock quartet has already lined up a new slate of shows for the fall. The band’s latest headline tour launches September 10 at Power Plant Live in Baltimore, MD, and ends October 24 at Uptown Amphitheatre at The Music Factory in Charlotte, NC.
The 31-date tour will stop in markets across the United States during its six-week run. Highlights include a September 14 gig at Orpheum Theatre in Madison, WI, a September 22 concert at Showbox SoDo in Seattle, WA, a September 28 event at the House of Blues in New Orleans, LA, and an October 11 show at the Palladium Ballroom in Dallas, TX.
Tickets for the fall headline tour are already available in some markets, and the tour-closing concert in Charlotte goes on sale to the general public on August 14. More specific sale and ticketing information can be found on Shinedown’s official Web site.
Shinedown is currently co-headlining the Stimulate This! summer tour with fellow hard rock crew Staind. That venture, which also includes support from Chevelle and Halestorm, continues August 10 at The Amphitheatre at Clark County in Ridgefield, WA, and closes August 31 at Champlain Valley Exposition in Essex Junction, VT.
The Florida-based hard rock band is still supporting its third studio album, “The Sound of Madness,” which was released in June 2008. The album peaked at No. 8 on the Billboard 200 and has produced the single “Second Chance,” which hit No. 7 on the Hot 100 singles chart. The band recently confirmed “Sound of Madness” as its latest single from the album, and the track is currently positioned at No. 85 on the Hot 100.
