The party goes on for classic rock duo Steely Dan. Donald Fagen and Walter Becker will keep their musical celebration on the road with a second leg of Rent Party 2009 Tour dates this fall.

The U.S. trek picks up again with concerts on October 12-13 at Paramount Theatre in Seattle, WA, and ends with a single stop north of the border on November 25-26 at Massey Hall in Toronto, ON. Additional multiple-night engagements are scheduled for October 20-21 at the Civic Auditorium in San Jose, CA; October 23-25 at the Masonic Center in San Francisco, CA; November 10-11 at Taft Theatre in Cincinnati, OH; and November 19-20 at Tower Theatre in Upper Darby, PA.

As with the duo’s summer concert dates, special setlists are being prepped for the outing and will include full album performances of “Aja” and “The Royal Scam,” as well as other fan favorites. Most cities hosting two-night stands will hear both albums in their entirety, except for San Jose, which will hear “Aja” on the first night followed by an evening of Internet requests.

San Francisco, the only three-night stop on the schedule, will receive cover-to-cover renditions of “Aja” and “The Royal Scam” for the band’s first two performances. The third night’s set list, as in San Jose, will be filled with requests collected online beforehand.

Cities booked for single nights will hear the entirety of “Aja,” as well as other fan favorites and tunes from the band’s catalogue. However, special setlists have not been designated for October 16 at Penchanga Resort in Temecula, CA, or October 17 at Fantasy Springs in Indio, CA.

Tickets are already on sale for Steely Dan’s October and early November concerts. Sales begin September 25 in Cincinnati and Toronto, and on September 26 in Philadelphia. More details about the planned setlists and onsale dates are available on the official Steely Dan Web site.

Steely Dan launched the first leg of its Rent Party Tour over the summer and completed special performances in Boston, New York City, Los Angeles and Chicago, along with one-night shows in a handful of other cities. The summer calendar ended with a September 5 show at Sound Board Theater in Detroit, MI.
