Cancellations for the ‘Fame Kills’ dynamic duo, and more postponements for Miley Cyrus and Paramore are part of the daily tour recap for October 2, as compiled by TicketNews.

The axe finally fell today on the Fame Kills Tour starring Kanye West and Lady GaGa. The pair’s planned 2009-2010 performances have been cancelled, according to a brief statement from Live Nation, but refunds will be tendered.

West and his Lady aren’t the only performers to suffer setbacks on the road. Pop artists Miley Cyrus and Paramore have some health-related delays ahead. For those stories and more, check out some of the day’s other announcements in brief:

Miley Cyrus is still battling against a tough case of strep throat, causing another concert to be rescheduled on her North American tour. In addition to her October 2 show being postponed until October 13, the young Disney starlet and singer is also pushing back her planned October 3 performance at Sprint Center in Kansas City, MO, until October 17.

Tickets for Cyrus’ original shows will be honored on the new dates, but there is some question as to how that will affect the strict admission guidelines of the paperless ticketing process. (The purchasing credit card and photo ID must be presented, meaning many younger tykes would need to be chaperoned in line, not just dropped off.) At least in the case of tonight’s nixed gig at Qwest Center in Omaha, NE, the venue is monitoring concert-goers’ calls, and if concerns are overwhelming, changes could be made.

Paramore has also been forced to postpone several shows on its fall tour itinerary due to lead singer Hayley Williams’ laryngitis. The rescheduled performances are now November 3 at The Pageant in St. Louis, MO; November 4 at Uptown Theater in Kansas City, MO; November 6 at The Roy Wilkins Auditorium in St. Paul, MN; November 8 at Fillmore Auditorium in Denver, CO; and November 10 at Warfield Theatre in San Francisco, CA. A new show has also been added for November 11 at Hollywood Palladium in Hollywood, CA, while the regular tour schedule resumes October 10 at the House of Blues in Chicago, IL.

Queen Latifah is taking back her crown with a new North American tour this fall. The hip-hop artist-turned-actress previously confirmed eight shows from November 1 at Commodore Ballroom in Vancouver, BC, through November 21 at Rams Head Live in Baltimore, MD, but now three new shows are on the books. The recent additions are November 8 at Ogden Theatre in Denver, CO; November 25 at Showcase Live in Foxboro, MA; and November 27 at the House of Blues in Atlantic City, NJ.

Steely Dan launches the latest round of its Rent Party ’09 Tour on October 12-13 at Paramount Theatre in Seattle, WA. The duo originally had nearly 20 concerts booked, but that number is now at 27 with the addition of four new multi-night engagements. The latest gigs are set for November 13-14 at Riverside Theatre in Milwaukee, WI; November 16-17 at E.J. Thomas Hall in Akron, OH; November 22-23 at DAR Constitution Hall in Washington, DC; and November 28-29 at Salle Wilfrid-Pelletier in Montreal, QC. The Quebec performances are currently Steely Dan’s final North American dates scheduled for 2009.
