Musicians Tegan and Sara are among the acts that have updated concert plans in the daily tour recap for October 13, as compiled by TicketNews.

One-man act Owl City is one of the recording industry’s surprise successes of the year. The project of 23-year-old Adam Young shot from obscurity to up-and-coming pop stardom almost overnight, and largely due to word of mouth. Now, after a series of sold-out concerts booked through late 2009, Owl City will return to concerts and theaters for a fresh round of headlining performances in 2010.

Those are the complete concert and tour reports for this Tuesday. Many other artists have updated their calendars for the near future. Check out some of the highlights in brief below:

Tegan and Sara will stay on the North American tour trail through spring 2010 with a fresh round of U.S. tour dates. The concerts follow a previously announced set of January shows in the sister duo’s native Canada. U.S. dates begin February 12 at Calvin Theater in Northampton, MA, and conclude April 6 at In the Venue in Salt Lake City, UT. Twenty-six shows are planned for the States, including stops on February 17 at Warner Theater in Washington, DC; February 23 at Variety Playhouse in Atlanta, GA; March 5-6 at Fox Theater in San Francisco, CA; and March 30 at Promo West Pavilion in Columbus, OH. Tickets are already on sale for Tegan and Sara’s previously announced Canadian performances, and U.S. onsales open to the public on October 16.
