Award-winning musician Norah Jones will mount her latest North American tour in the early months of 2010.

The jazz singer-songwriter recently announced her plans for a 36-date trek, which will take her across the United States over the course of about nine weeks. The early spring outing launches March 5 at Brady Theater in Tulsa, OK, and runs through a May 15 concert at Cobb Energy Performing Arts Centre in Atlanta, GA.

During the tour’s three-month route, Jones will stop for engagements on March 20 at Chicago Theatre in Chicago, IL; March 27 at the Theatre at Madison Square Garden in New York, NY; April 18 at Paramount Theatre in Seattle, WA; April 23 at Orpheum Theatre in Los Angeles, CA; and May 14 at Ryman Auditorium in Nashville, TN.

Tickets for a select number of concert dates begin December 4, and the remaining onsale dates are spread out through mid-March. Prices vary from venue to venue, but according to current listings on Ticketmaster, tickets currently range from a low of $42.50 to a high of $60.

Jones is touring in support of her fourth studio album, “The Fall,” released on November 17. The disc debuted in the No. 3 slot on the Billboard 200, making it the vocalist and pianist’s first release not to top the charts.

For each of her previous releases, including her 2002 Diamond-certified breakthrough “Come Away With Me,” Jones has launched tours that spanned over a year.
