For a third year, Rockstar Energy Drinks will sponsor its touring metal event, the Mayhem Festival. Korn and Rob Zombie lead the 12-band billing, with supporting acts Lamb of God and Five Finger Death Punch also appearing on the main stage.

The three-stage festival will travel to 24 markets across the United States and Canada, beginning with a July 10 concert at San Manuel Amphitheater in San Bernadino, CA, and ending August 14 at Zoo Amphitheatre in Oklahoma City, OK.

Other highlights on the festival itinerary include stops on July 16 at Cricket Wireless Pavilion in Phoenix, AZ; July 23 at Susquehanna Bank Center in Camden, NJ; August 1 at Lakewood Amphitheatre in Atlanta, GA; and August 11 at Cruzan Amphitheatre in West Palm Beach, FL. A single show in Canada is booked for July 25 at Parc Jean-Drapeau in Montreal, QC.

In addition to the four bands on the main stage, eight more bands will be split between the festival’s side stages. Atreyu, Norma Jean, In This Moment and 3 Inches of Blood are the current billing on the Mayhem Festival Stage. Meanwhile, the Jagermeister Stage will feature Hatebreed, Chimaira, Shadows Fall and Winds of Plague.

TFL and ATBS for ticketing professionals

A two-week ticket presale kicks off on April 2, followed by public onsales on April 16. More details about the festival and its ticketing are available on Mayhem’s official Web site.

The Mayhem Festival has maintained a consistent draw since it’s inaugural run during summer 2008 with headliners Slipknot and Disturbed. Last year, the festival was back for a second year with headliners Slayer and Marilyn Manson. According to Live Nation, the festival has drawn about 600,000 attendees in both of its previous years.
