Lady Gaga shows no sign of slowing when it comes to expanding her North American itinerary. Pop music’s It girl has revealed another dozen concert dates for her 2011 Monster Ball Tour, bringing the total to 36 dates across the United States and Canada.
Lady Gaga’s latest tour stops are scattered across the United States — from the East Coast to the West, and the deep South to the Midwest — as well as the eastern portion of Canada. This revision comes hot on the heels of the five concerts announced last week.
Though the February 19 opening date is still intact, Gaga’s long-running roadshow will stretch an extra week. The newly unveiled April 27 closing gig at Quicken Loans Arena in Cleveland, OH, gives the singer-songwriter just a few days to recover before she begins a string of early May performances in Mexico.
Other recently announced shows include March 6 at Scotiabank Place in Ottawa, ON; March 29 at Viejas Arena in San Diego, CA; April 16 at St. Pete Times Forum in Tampa, FL; and April 25 at Bell Centre in Montreal, QC. The Long Island native will also play to her home crowd with an April 23 extravaganza at Nassau Coliseum in Uniondale, NY.
All new concert dates are outlined on Lady Gaga’s 2011 tour itinerary (below).
Public onsales for the new concerts begin over the course of October 1-2, except in Newark and Uniondale, where ticket sales start later on October 4. As with the rest of the Monster Ball Tour, ticket prices largely fall within the $49.50 to $175 range, according to updated listings on Ticketmaster.com.
Since the Monster Ball launched at the end of 2009, Gaga has frequently upgraded and expanded the scope of her trek. She toured nationally through the summer, only recently wrapping that leg of dates with a September 19 event at RBC Center in Raleigh, NC.
After an October 2 appearance at Yoko Ono’s Plastic Ono Band concerts in Los Angeles, Lady Gaga will take her tour back overseas for a year-end jaunt. Her international itinerary begins with October 13-14 shows in Helsinki, Finland, and continues through a December 16-17 stand in London, England.
