PRESS RELEASE: “NEW YORK ISLANDERS TEAM UP WITH BETHPAGE FEDERAL CREDIT UNION”

UNIONDALE, NY (New York Islanders) September 8, 2010 – The New York Islanders announced today the renewal of Bethpage Federal Credit Union as a team sponsor. Bethpage Federal Credit Union will again present a number of team community initiatives including the Islanders Kids Club, the Islanders Community Events (I.C.E.) Tour and Islanders at School Program.

“Bethpage serves the Long Island community through financial support of charities, community sponsorships, media awareness and volunteerism with an emphasis on families through its community program known as the Heart of Bethpage,” said Linda Armyn, Bethpage Federal Credit Union Senior Vice President of Corporate Development and Government Affairs. “That’s why partnering with the Islanders to sponsor community-focused events and kids programs made perfect sense for us. We are both organizations that strive to make the Island a better place to live, work and play.”

The 2010-11 season will mark the fourth consecutive year that the Islanders Kids Club is presented by Bethpage Federal Credit Union and the third year in a row that they will partner with the I.C.E. Tour. Bethpage Federal Credit Union has also sponsored the Islanders at School Program since it was launched in 2009.
