PRESS RELEASE: “Premiere Global Sports Sees Increase in College Bowl Travelers”

CHICAGO (BUSINESS WIRE) January 21, 2011 – Bowl season offers a fantastic opportunity for college football fans to travel to exciting venues to see their teams in action. Premiere Global Sports, an industry leader in hospitality, travel and tickets to sporting and entertainment events, reports that they’ve seen a significant increase in the sale of their bowl travel packages over last year. Over 9,500 people purchased various travel and ticket packages to a variety of bowl games through a combination of the company’s three divisions: Sports Travel, College, and GoTickets. As a result of these travel packages, nearly 12,000 hotel nights were booked — almost doubling the total from last year. In addition, Premiere traveled over 4,000 fans via one of twenty-nine chartered flights available from fifteen cities across the nation.

In addition to travel packages, over 3,000 tickets were sold to seventeen bowl games across the country.
