The 400 fans who were denied their seats at this year’s Super Bowl will be given a second choice of how they would like to be compensated for the ticketing mix up. In addition to refunds of three-times the face value of their tickets for the February 6 game, the NFL also offered fans the opportunity to attend next year’s Super Bowl in Indianapolis. The ticket to that Super Bowl could be resold. The NFL, however, added another option: A ticket to any upcoming Super Bowl plus all travel and accommodations expenses paid, but that ticket could not be resold because it will be personalized to that individual, according to Bloomberg. In the second scenario, those fans would not receive the three-times face value refund.
