Kid Rock will get a little help from a friend on the upcoming leg of his Born Free Tour. Nearly 30 dates have been lined up for summer headline tour with Sheryl Crow on the bill a special guest.

The country-infused rockers will set out together July 2 at the Riverbend Music Center in Cincinnati, OH. Their U.S. itinerary closes two months later with a September 3 event at the Cynthia Woods Mitchell Pavilion in Woodlands, TX.

Among other dates, Kid Rock and Crow will also share a stage on July 9 at Comcast Center in Mansfield, MA; July 16 at Verizon Wireless Amphitheatre in Maryland Heights, MO; and August 2 at Cricket Wireless Amphitheatre in Chula Vista, CA.

Later dates on the summer shed tour include August 22 at Jiffy Lube Live in Bristow, VA, and September 2 at Gexa Energy Pavilion in Dallas, TX.

While the majority of public ticket sales are split between today, April 8, and tomorrow, April 9, select markets are opening their box offices April 15-16 instead. A full run-down of specific onsale dates is available on Kid Rock’s official Web site.

Prices are fairly consistent across the board, according to LiveNation.com event listings, which show face values starting around $25 and ranging up $75 or $81.50 in most places. Woodlands, TX, marks the high end of the spectrum with pre-fee face values hitting $90. On the low end is Tinley Park, IL, where ticket face values start at just $19.

Kid Rock released his seventh studio album, “Born Free,” in November 2010. The album features a collaboration with Crow on the song “Collide.” The two also previously worked together on “Picture,” the hit single on his 2001 album “Cocky.”
