Incubus made good on an earlier promise and late yesterday, June 1, announced new dates for a summer 2011 North American tour.
The 31-date calendar launches outside the continental U.S. with an August 5 event at Kaako Waterfront Park in Honolulu, HI, before returning to the mainland for an August 17 performance at Red Rocks Amphitheatre in Morrison, CO.
Dates are scheduled through October 9, when Incubus takes the stage at Shoreline Amphitheatre in Mountain View, CA. Other scheduled concerts include August 21 at Charter One Pavilion in Chicago, IL, and September 3 at the Jones Beach Theater in Wantagh, NY.
Later, the tour makes stops on September 11 at Merriweather Post Pavilion in Columbia, MD, and October 7 at Hollywood Bowl in Los Angeles, CA. A single concert is booked for Canada on August 28 at Molson Canadian Amphitheatre in Toronto, ON.
Onsale dates vary depending on the market, and only select onsales are presently listed on Ticketmaster.com and LiveNation.com. The band’s Red Rocks show carries the earliest public ticket sale date of the batch (June 4), with other onsales spread over the remainder of the month. Face values are mainly in the $50 ballpark, though Saratoga Springs starts its pricing at $20.
The upcoming tour supports Incubus’ seventh full-length studio album, “If Not Now, When?,” to be released July 12. The group last toured North America with the 2009 Monuments and Melodies Tour, which was followed by some international dates in 2010.
