Four months after wrapping the successful first leg of his 2011 tour, Bob Seger and the Silver Bullet Band have revealed details for the long-planned second leg of concert dates.

Seger’s late fall trek opens November 2 at Eastern Michigan University in Ypsilanti, MI, and closes December 3 at Wells Fargo Center in Philadelphia, PA. An initial 13 concerts have been confirmed for this run, including a December 1 gig at Madison Square Garden in New York, NY.

These dates complement a couple concerts that Seger had previously lined up for year-end: the first-ever concert at the Ford Center in Evansville, IN, booked for November 9, as well as a headlining performance at Orlando Calling Festival on November 13.

While the present routing focuses on Midwest and East Coast markets, more U.S. and Canadian locales will be added to the itinerary in the coming weeks. According to Seger’s official Web site, these future announcements will include dates in Los Angeles and San Francisco, CA; Dallas, TX; Denver, CO; and Vancouver, BC, among other cities.

Tickets are already available to the public for Seger’s Orlando Calling appearance. While onsale dates and ticket prices are yet to come for most other tour dates, details for at least two concerts were revealed the morning of September 12 on Ticketmaster.com.

Public onsales will begin September 17 for Seger’s date in Uncasville, CT, where pre-fee prices are listed at $75 and $95. Another round of onsales follows September 24 for an event in Columbus, OH, which lists ticket face values in the range of $39.50 to $69.

Seger and his famed backing crew, the Silver Bullet Band, launched the first leg of the 2011 tour with a March 26 concert in Toledo. Seger’s first tour in four years ultimately featured 27 concerts in 22 cities — including three nights (May 17, 19 and 21) in his native Detroit, MI.

Tickets to the early 2011 concerts sold quickly in select markets, with a few old-out shows confirmed on Seger’s Web site. The tour’s popularity earned Seger a place on TicketNews’ exclusive Top Events rankings from the start of onsales in mid-February through the last dates of the tour in May.
