Bob Seger tour expands through year’s end 

Over the past few weeks, Bob Seger has slowly and routinely added dates to the second leg of his 2011 tour with the Silver Bullet Band.

The late-year tour leg launches November 2 at Eastern Michigan University in Ypsilanti, MI. Now, thanks to the latest confirmed concerts, the itinerary includes 23 dates and stretches through a special December 30 gig at Mandalay Bay Events Center in Las Vegas, NV.

Other recently added show dates include December 10 at FedExForum in Memphis, TN; December 17 at American Airlines Center in Dallas, TX; and December 28 at Staples Center in Los Angeles, CA. The full itinerary is available below.

The next round of public ticket sales open October 22 in Oklahoma City and Dallas; October 29 in Phoenix and Los Angeles; and November 5 in Oakland. Ticket prices vary across markets from a low of $39 to a high of $125, according to ticketing details on the musician’s official Web site.

Seger announced his second 2011 tour leg in early September with the unveiling of a 13-date calendar. Since then, the performer has added 11 more dates and extended his tour to the West Coast, a region neglected on the first leg of U.S. tour in spring 2011.

Early onsales for the upcoming tour leg have already driven Bob Seger tickets into the upper registers of TicketNews’ exclusive concert rankings for the past five consecutive weeks. The American rock icon even topped the rankings for both the week ending September 25 and the most recent week ending October 16.
