2011 has been a big year for country singer-songwriter Miranda Lambert. She married fellow country star Blake Shelton in May and just recently dropped her fourth studio album, “Four the Record,” on November 1.
With such a momentous year behind her, the singer-songwriter is prepared to launch into 2012 with the appropriately named On Fire Tour.
The On Fire Tour will visit 15 cities — beginning in Rockford, IL, where Lambert will perform January 12 at the BMO Harris Bank Center. Her event calendar continues for at least another month and presently wraps February 23 at Macon Centreplex in Macon, GA.
Among other dates, concerts are inked for January 14-15 at the Fargodome in Fargo, ND; January 26 at 1st Mariner Arena in Baltimore, MD; and February 17 at the Giant Center in Hershey, PA.
Public onsales for the On Fire Tour open today, November 4, in select markets. According to listings on Ticketmaster.com, face values are set in the range of $25 to $50 for each regular tour stop across the board.
Of course, Lambert does have a couple special performances scheduled outside the realm of her standard On Fire Tour dates. The first special date falls late in the tour on February 21, when Lambert will headline the day’s entertainment at the San Antonio Stock Show & Rodeo in Texas.
Once she’s wrapped the early 2012 itinerary, Lambert will return in the spring for an April 28 headline set at the Stagecoach Festival in Indio, CA. As usual, Stagecoach 2012 will operate from the Empire Polo Club grounds (also home to Coachella) for its April 27–29 festivities.
Considering the mid-tour gap in her 2012 calendar, it’s possible that Lambert has a few additional concerts up her sleeve for the early year jaunt. Those dates that have been announced will feature support from Chris Young and Jerrod Niemann.
