Death Cab for Cutie has a spring tour in the works for the United States and Canada. As it stands now, 22 shows are scheduled from April 10 at Ellie Caulkins Opera House in Denver, CO, through May 13 at Paramount Theatre in Seattle, WA. Among other dates, the Ben Gibbons-fronted band will perform April 16 at Chicago Theatre in Chicago, IL; April 27 at Beacon Theatre in New York, NY; and May 7 at Walt Disney Concert Hall in Los Angeles, CA. Fan club presales begin January 20, followed by initial public onsales on January 28.

Bassnectar will spread its brand of electronic music across the nation this spring with a one-month tour. Nineteen dates are presently lined up for the jaunt, which launches April 11 at the Egyptian Room in Indianapolis, IN, and concludes May 11 at Roseland Theater in Portland, OR. Other events are set for Aoruk 14 at Congress Theater in Chicago, IL; April 18-19 at the House of Blues in Boston, MA; April 25 at The National in Richmond, VA; and May 4 at the Memorial Auditorium in Sacramento, CA.

Thomas Dolby hits the road early this spring for a 24-date North American tour. The musician will split his time between U.S. and Canadian markets with a calendar that runs from a March 16 set at SXSW in Austin, TX, through an April 17 gig at Largo in Los Angeles, CA. Dolby’s tour plans also include shows on March 20 at The Loft in Atlanta, GA; March 29 at Canal Room in New York, NY; April 2 at The Mod Club Theatre in Toronto, ON; April 5 at Park West in Chicago, IL; and April 10 at Rio Theatre in Vancouver, BC.

Andrew W.K. has filled in the first two weeks of March with a 10-date tour of West Coast markets. The rocker has concerts inked from March 3 at Venue in Vancouver, BC, through a festival set at SXSW on March 14 in Austin, TX. Stops in between include March 5 at Wonder Ballroom in Portland, OR; March 9 at Body English in Las Vegas, NV; and March 11 at The Marquee in Tempe, AZ.
